Blankets of Blessing and Shawls of Solace

Blankets of Blessing and Shawls of Solace is a prayer shawl ministry of Crosswalk Community Church that gathers each Tuesday at 1 P.M. to sew, knit, or crochet lap blankets and shawls.

Shawls and lap blankets are gifted to those who are recovering from a loss, surgery, or stress and are needing to feel God's comfort through a handmade prayerfully stitched shawl or blanket. 

The prayer shawl ministry welcomes you to join us. There are yarn kits available of coordinating colors put together.  If the day and time does not work for you, yarn kits can be taken home to assemble. The yarn kits are put together from purchased and donated yarn. Donations of yarn, plain gift bags, tissue paper, and blank note cards are always welcome.

We begin stitching and visiting each Tuesdays at 1 P.M. and conclude at 3 P.M. at Crosswalk Community Church. We meet only once a month in the summer.
